Hiking up to "Y" Mountain

We decided to walk to the "top of the Y" which is a mountain near BYU

that has a big white "Y" on the mountain.

Here the girls are at the top of the mountain.  I was the first to the top and had to wait about 10 minutes before everyone else showed.

Visit to Utah

I flew up to Utah to visit Ruth, Adaline and Cory.

Heritage photos

Family is everything and very important.  While visiting Ruth, I got the following electronic copies of photos of my grandpa Brewer and other relatives.

 Here is my dad's military photo.  It's incredible how young he was!

And he still looks the same! 

Home improvement projects...

 Whenever I'm home, I have time on my hands.  And I want to either rent or sell my condo, so I'm working on home improvement projects.  I've always wanted to make the master bathroom bigger...so I finally did!  With Rudger's help, we tore out the wall, framed a new wall, and I laid tile!

Above is the tile all grouted!  If I do say so myself, I think it looks pretty good!  And what a difference it makes.  I will put the toilet back tonight and then the sink.  I might hang the drywall tomorrow before heading up to Utah to visit Ruth, Adaline & Corey.

Happy 4th of July!

This is the first time in four years since I've been home to celebrate the birth of the best country in the world...the United States of America!   I love this country, which is what lead me to join the State Department and move overseas to represent this country that I love.

Visiting Lakeside

Mom and Tyler picked me up from the airport.  We stayed in Chandler Saturday night and went to church in my ward.  The after we ate dinner, we headed back up to Lakeside.

Grandma is watching Bridgette's kids.  So we are sitting here watching a cartoon Zoro, and taking photos! :)
